6:00p - Dessert of Wonders

Ok, so I had 4 of these weird cookies that I thought were chocolate chip dunkers, a quarter glass of milk, and 2 little pieces of Toblerone. The weird cookies FOOLED ME! Turns out they had coconut in them (....ick). I don't even want to imagine how many calories were in them...it would hurt my soul to imagine that they were 400 calories in all, so I can almost bet I ate 550 calories. Sadness in the world. Sadness in my heart....but (temporary) happiness in mah belly!!! :-D..... :-St

4:30p....a happy food for a happy mood!

I think I should start taking pictures of my dinners! I  don't know how, but whenever it is that I cook dinner it looks so pretty on the plate. Tonight I had a wonderful plate of a linguini with mushrooms. My guess is that the caloric value for the whole amount I cooked was about 450 calories. I don't know that it makes very much sense to make so much food at a time, but unfortunately I don't know how.  I think I will look up some of those "cooking for one" recipes and cookbooks soon. Otherwise, I'll be eating the same meal for 3 or 4 meals in a row! Haha, linguine for dinner, breakfast, and lunch....I think not!

1 FEBRUARY 09 @ 11:30a

LOL what a way to start a blog.  My second meal of February (if you could call it that) was a piece of 7UP Pound Cake.  Since I have the nutritional information, I'll share it.

The 3 ounce thick piece of cake was 285 calories with a fat contribution of 70 calories. The main ingredient, as I'm sure you know, is SUGAR!!!

Even though it wasn't exactly the healthiest choice, I don't know that I regret it yet. I chalk it up to being Super Bowl Sunday....but I don't know how well that excuse is gonna hold up next week.

1 FEBRUARY 09 @ 7:30a

I had myself a cup of puffin cereal with fat-free milk. I think it was about 140 calories, and probably could be considered healthy. There wasn't much sugar (if any at all), and probably too much milk for my taste, but hey...it's cereal. :-D
